robot here. another package was addressed to her d.c. office but was intercepted in capol heights, maryland. waters and biden are just two of the people impacted by all this. take a look at the map behind me here. the clinto, obamas, former attorney general eric holder, democratic donor george soros, and the cnn offices in new york city we all sent devices. here's what tet dev looks like. the bombs apparently had timers and contained powder from fireworks. x-rays showed there were likely pieces of shrapnel inside the pvcipes as well. all of those who were sent explosives are political opponents of president trump. he held another event last night in wisconsin, but this time he struck a much different tone. >> the language of moral condemnation and destructive routine, these are arguments and disagreements that have to stop. no one should carelessly compare political opponents to

>> we ar monitoring the investigation closely and will bring you any updates on air and online a they come in. you can always open the nbc washington app for the latest. some breaking news now at 6:06. it's being called the most powerful storm o 2018. >> super typhoon yutu is amming the u.s. territories of guam and the northern mariana islands. chris lawrence is at the live desk with the latest video of this strong storm. >> eun, take a look. the winds have been gusting up to 180 miles an hour. you can s the power of the storm in this new video. we've learned that several people have already been injured. se you take a c look, just to put the strength of this storm into perspective, sner typh yutu is the force equivalent of a category 5 hurricane. national weather service says it is the strongest storm to hit any part of the u.s. this year. storm surges and waves have crested as high as 25 feet. in the eye othe storm, those waves have reached 40 feet. nearly 200 federal emergency workers have deployed to the

entered a kroger grocery store yesterday afternoon and randomly keot a man several times. he then w out to the parking lot and shot a woman. both of the victims died. an armed citizen exchanged gu.ire with the s still, he managed to get away. the suspect was later arrested. new details about that viral outbreak at a pediatric rehab center in newersey. seventh child has now died from what's called the ad'sovirus. common and usually mild in healthy people, but the children at the r aab cente had fragile immune systems, increasing the risk ofca complitions. in all, about 18 children at the center were affected. today we expect to learn more about that massiveire at a senior apartment building near the navy yard. d.c. officials are seto hold a aring on the cause and response at the arthur capper senior apartments last month. 160 seniors weredisplaced following that fire. it was initially thought that ly, bute was rescued sa officials had to go back in after an engineer discovered one resident trapped in his apartment daysqu later.

news 4. falloutther turn in the over recent comments made by nbc news host megyly k about blackface. we've learned kelly has fired her agent after reports surfaced that she may be giving up her show on nbc. this a m began onday during kelly's show. in the midst of a panel discussion about inappropriate halloween costumes, kel said she didn't see what was wrong with blackface. the reaction was swift from viewersonline and even some of her nbc colleagues, denouncing her comments on air. kelly started her show yesterday with an apology. >> i learned that given the history of blackface being ud in awful ways by racists in this country, it is notkay for that to be part of any costume, haoween or otherwise. i have never been a pc kind ofp on, but i do understand the value in being sensitive to our history, particularly on race and ethnicity. >> nbcha newsman andy lack
