charges. chris pollone, nbc news. >> the neighborhood of pittsburgh where this mass h shootipened is called squirrel hill. it is a predominantly jewish community. news 4's david culver is just outside pittsburgh right now where he has new reaction from thoseiving in that area. he joins us live on the phone to explain more about the fabric of this community. david. >> reporter: yeah, erica, joining you by pne because we are making our way into pittsburgh right now. i spent much of the ride monitoring a lot of local pittsburgh news feed, hearing eswhat they'reibing in that situation, also spending time talking by phone with a lot of the long-time residents in ttsburgh. they described the squirrel hill neighborhood that you mentioned as a family-focused community, stressing it is not a suburb of pittsbut very much a part of the city. as youoint out,t is traditionally home to a large jewish community. l as oneal tells me, even if the religiosity for some resident may not be as fervent as it once was, it is very much jewish in culture.

heartbreak for the family of two sisters frfm f county who have been missing for months. their anguish made even me unbearable because of how the girls died. the bodies of the girls were found floating along the hudson river wednesday. the nypd says they were bound together with duct tape facing one another. both were c fullythed and had no visible signs of trauma. workingators are still to figure out the exact cause of death. they were 22 and 16 years old. apologizing s now for refusing to take down a threatening tweet sent by mail bomb suspect cesarsayoc. that tweet was sent to press secretary rochelle richie. it told her to hug her lovedhe ones before leaves home. she got it after a "fox news" appearance two weeks ago. sayoc is accused of sending more
