maybe you're getting ready to head out to the race route. my parents waited until they thought i was going to finish and then showed up. you probably want to know how you need to dre this morning. it's little cool out ther >> it is. that was as advertised but temperatures not that bad for racing or running errands, maybe heading to the farmer's market, maybe the kids have soccer games or if you're headed t church services. we had a few showers during the overnight and we're seeing a few sprinks left a ea of i-95 getting ready to move into an a arundel county. so that's it. those are going to dissipate. we have another chance of rain

more women. 3,000 more women are running this year. two maryland women just finished the 10k and are joining me now. why did you decide to run? >> for hlth reasons and to support themarines. > reporter: you saw marines everywhere you went. what was it like? >> it was amazing. i'll do it again. >> reporter: what was the best part? >> just seeing peoplechring me on. >> reporter: you felt the marines out there? >> every step of the way. it was esome. >> reporter: what does it mean to support them. you both work for the federal government? >> it means that we have thein ma that are the greatest war fighters in the world so it's just awesome supporting the governmt, all the military. i work for the navy, sailors,

live in northwest d.c. with a look at how this isffting traffic. what are you seeing? >> reporter: it's not affecting it that much anymore. the road closures are in place but they'll be coming up any minute now. we're looking west down "m" street. you can see there's a phalanx of military folks clearing the street of cups or debris left by closures nd the road with the trucks and the buses at the intersection of wisconsi and m, they'll be moving away ny minute so you'll be able to travel normally through here be this was one of theue picture parts of the course during the race and we had a runner who stopped to talk about what it was like. >> the weather today is picture perfect. it really. is one of the best days i've ever run the marine rps marathon. this is my 19th marine corps, off and on since 1995. it's exciting and the spectators

morehi about horrific shooting. what did they say? >> reporter:m monitoring that press conference happening not too far from here. a surge of new information coming out. most importantly, the names of the 11 victims have been released. they range in age from o 97, eight men and three women. 11 liveske in the tree of life synagogue just behind me. shis remain an active crime scene, offici telling us they're going to keep the area week off for at least a if not longer. we've gotten more information about the suspect. this is what they're saying about robert bowers. they say they took him into federal custoni last t. he will face a federal judge tomorrow morning. these areederal crimes and the u.s. attorneying this and unspeakable and hateful crime. at the same time, the police chief is praising thewh officer helped bring that suspect
