news 4's cory smith who's live on the scene where police just made an arrest. cory, what can you tell us tonight? >> well, just like you said, erika, this man has been arrested. that hpened just within the last five to seven minutes. officers just pushed us back away fm the scene. there is a bomb technician on the way here to clear what it was that the man dropped when he came out of the store. i'm going to step out of the way. jeff, if you can, you see that the ground.ooks like a bag on that is what the man dropped as soon as he finally madeis way out of the store. we actually captured that on camera. so let's go ahead and show you that video. when we arrived, you could hear officers shouting commands to the suspect, telling him to come to the front of the store with his hands up. that lasted for a few moments,

an assault outside a bar in demaryland turns ly. and we've just learned the name of the man killed in the parking lot of the cactus flats bar & grill last night. the frederick county sheriff's office says somebod attacked robert swann jr. people rushed to help him but h died in that parking lot. the sheriff's office tells us they are stillga invesng the incident. they haven't released any information about who assaulted swann. and d.c. police are investigating a deadly shooting at aas station in brentwood. they got the call about 6:00 this morning. officers found a man ad. they roped off the entire station while gathering evidence. noho word on shot the man. a prince george's county firefighter arrested and charged with arson. our news partners at wt radio report that medic lieutenant

we go back to that breaking news from the top of this broadcast. arrest after a bomb threat at a falls church starbucks. cory smith is live with new reaction f witness and police. what are they saying, cory? >> reporter: erika, we just spoke to police, and according to them this cal camen before 4:00. the suspect walked into the starbucks intoxicated and when staff askedeim to leave refused. that is when employees told police thatha he told them he had a bomb. at that point employees evacuated the building and called 911. the man stayed inside. when officers arrived, they began negotiating with him,
