district this morning. a local priest is facing a sexual assault charge. d.c. police say father urban vazquez touched a girl under her shirt twice back inva 2015. uez worked at the shrine of the sacred heart parish in columbia heights at the tilme. he has been removed from his duties tre. the archdiocese of washington also removed another priest for failing to report the abuse allegations. more allegations have beenade against vazquez since he was arrested yesterday. also developing today, protests expected around the country today in the wake of jeff sessions' resignati. >> at the president's request, sessions stepped down as attorney general yesterday. that essential handsoversight of the russia investigation to whomever the president chooses. protesters gathered outside of the white house last night with gns demanding protection for special counsel robert mueller. they're also calling for the now-acting attorney general to recuse himself from overseeing the russia investigation.

sessions' departure wasn't unexpected. he and the president have had a rocky relationship sessions recused himself from overseeing the russia investigatio himself. sessions' replacement is his chief of staff, matthew whitaker, not the deputy attorney general, rod rosenstein. he can now dictate the tirameters of the russia investigation, theline for the conclusion, and even bob security.job whitaker has repeatedly criticized the special counsel and the length of this investigation. meanwhile,nn reporter jim acosta has been barred from entering the white house aft an inten back and forth with president trump during a news cotaerence. acos shot this video of a secret service agent revoking his pass last night. so here' the moment that led to that revocation. acosta was trying to ask aqu tion when the president cut him off. you see the young lady there, the intern who came ove to took the mike. he resisted her. the white house says acosta, quote, laid his hands on her, and that's w they revoked his
