up its second headquarters here in our area. and also tro, a lot of new riders coming onoa brd to that service as the service is trying to improve its offering. you might recall over the weekend we saw the crystal city and reagan national sps close for repairs. that resulted in traffic and also o someer major concerns for the airport, getting there on friday. theing, too, already highest premium in our area. we're talk abo moreobs coming with also high incomes, which could push up the cost of housing potentially in some areas, too. then you have schools. these are families coming to the area with their children. they do nee places to go to school. schools already seeing growth year to year in the northern virginia area. this could tack m on evene growth on top of that. the silver lining here, though, issi sses, restaurants,

we are staying on top of the big story of the y, amazon has made it official, its second headquarters is coming to what most ofs know as the crystal city area of arlington county. >> it's part of amazon's new

headquarters. virginia will benefit from more than 25,000 gh-payingjobs. >> chris, do we know any more details about those jobs? >> reporter: amazon has been saying they're going to be full-te position, very high-paying jobs. now we're starting to get some of the specifics. we got these details just a couple hours ago in this tweet that amazon released. basically arlington could receive more than $3 billion in incremental tax revenue over the next 20 years. if the general assembly approves, virginia would give amazon more than a half billion dollar in bincentive, that's only if the company creates 25,000 jobs paying on average more than $150,000 a year. now, arlington would also give amazon a cash grant based on getting a spike in hotel room tax. even if you don't work for amazon, there are some potential benefits for you in here as well. the commonwealth would invest
