including some moderate snowck ere toward the shenandoah valley and along the blue ridge. by 10:00 a.m.ai thesnow line creeping up to the d.c. metro area. south and east, it is almost all rain. but north and west, this is where we start to get into the wintry mix. and that is why fairfax county i thina good jobf going ahead and saying let's do a two hour delay because then we'll start to seean the rain comeh and we get everybody to school. this h been one of the wettest years of all time in our area. the snow however back to the west, that a bigger factor and that is why we think this area back to the west could be under the gun all day. 6:00 tomorrow night, this is ice, beingaccumulating a nasty day for sure, but again best chance for cancellations backwest. amelia, these are the areas that have the best chances for no schooltomorrow. >> absolutely. and not only cancellations, but

potentially power outages as well. so if you are in that winter storm warning, you need to take it seriously, make sure that you are prepared for your power to go out now because of the snow, but because of the potential for ice to accumulate on top of the snow and that could weigh down trees in the area. so as far as school cancellations, this is my forecast and this is just an idea of what i'm thinking based on the latest. i think we use see some cancellations up around carroll and frederick county, washington county through allloudoun and fauquier and frederi in virginia as well. delays are possible for the counes here in yellow. in fact fairfax already giving the two hour delay tomorrow. ince william and montgomery county right on the line. i think that you might be under a two hr dela and as we see the rain/snow line
