it broke out close to 1:00 a.m. that was from a neighbor across the street. very here had to make a fast call to not only knock that fire down from the outside but also go inside and search for potential victims and iide they found just that, two adults. they tried to bring them out here into the front, friday to revive them but to no avail. we are told that both adults did pass away from their injuries shortly after being pulled outs from tome here. it's not clear if this happened as a result of cooking or fireplace or space heater. that is under investigation at this time. as you look live at the home perhaps you can see to the left there the pocket where you can see inside not only is that home gutted but there's still some smokeinside. again, crews trying to make sure

she developed pneumonia and she was taking a medicine that weakened her immune system. severe strains can be deadly. maryland officials say there are at least five other reported cases of the virus. this is the same virus that killed nearly a dozen children with immune issues in new jersey. it's 5:08. the president will beataking up ar-a-lago this morning, but he left a fleury urry of contro in d.c. president trump wanted to order the justice department to prosecute two of his former adversaries, hillary clinton and jim comey. according to the "new york times" this happened last spring the report goes on to say that at the time white house counsel don mcgann told the president hi not have the authority to make that order. in a memo to the president white house lawyers warned the president that if he asked law enforcement to investigate his

close to 1:00 this morning. by the timehe she said got on the phone with dispatch, this house behind me here was fully engulfed with flames. we do have video now showing you the latter half of that firefight. heavy smoke showing the two story home. this is the 4900 block ofn westenue here. it was called in close to 1:00 thismorning. it was a very heavily involved fire. the crews are arriving to the scene. specifically ln the lowerel that spread up to the upper level of this home. the chief spoke with us about the fight to knock this fire down as well as the effort to save lives inside. take a listen. >> crews were operating from the front. crews wereperating from the rear in such a coordinated fashion that they ridly found one victim removed that person, then shortly thereafter found the second and removed that one as well. >> we want to show you now a map

there. i want to show you the latter part of the firefight with smoke pouring from the 2 1/2 story home. this is the 4900 block of western avenue on the d.c./maryland we are told when this fire was essentially beginning that dc fooir fighters were also called to and were on stand by as ntntgomery c firefighters began their firefight here. there was a neighbor, an alert neighbor across street who tells me thathe saw some sparks showing from the house across the street and by the time she got o the pho from dispatch it was essentially engulfed in flames. we do know that firefighters went inside and tried to do search. they found two victims inside, two adults. they brought them out, tried to revive them but sadly they did die as a result of their injuries. as we look now live at the scene we are still very much in a very active investigation going on right now trying to uncover
