news 4 midday. i'm mm melissa mollet. >> and i'm aaron gilchrist. with the deadly house fire. the fire killed two people on western avenue in the early morning hours and parts of the road are still shut down. >> justin finch has the latest on this. >> reporter: at this point we're kpil st still awaiting official confirmation. we can tell you in the meantime neighbors have been helping us fill in the gaps. theysell us that one victim an old r woman perhaps in her is 90 s60s. we can tell you a neighbor across the street is the one who says she first saw this fire rst as sparks close to 1:00 this morning and then she says it quickly went up in flames. c d.c. firews and montgomery fire crews were here on the scene trying to put this fire out. but they could not see those two victims. at this hour, the investigation is still coming together.

maryland at the beltway. ctually see that's looking quite good. let's take a lock at some other spots around town. virginia is not so hot this morning. driving to reagan national, t expect delayt drop off and atck the. p ramps. so as far as delays, we're seeing delays on 95 in virginia. butooking elsewhere when you're taking a d look inale city, that's looking a little better than it was a short time ago. southbound 95, had an earlier crash with two tractor trailers so it's slow through that area. you can see the delays 16 miles per hour as you're approaching fredericksburg. it should get better as the afternoon progresses ask then gets worse. still have some delays if you're

temperatures in the teens and even some single whgits. here's we have an area of high pressure in canada. this is going to get dislodged as a weak cold front moves through the area. i say weak because it's not going to bring us rain. it allows t super cold arctic air. a polar vortex to move into our area and the northeavi for thanks. czech this out. temperatures running 20 degrees below normal. parts of the northeast are going to be colder than some spots in antarcti ka ask alaska. the macy's day parade, single digit windchills and the winds could keep some of the larger floats ounded. so cold for thanksgiving. cold again on friday, but we have plenty of sunshine. the weather and as far as travel fwoez, not going to be an issue today, tomorrow an friday. here's saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. the green here is rain. the pink is the potential for a little bit of freezing rain back arouoi here. we're to keep an eye on it. a small chance for isolated pockets of freezing rain.
