fence. also breaking tonight, a potentially catastrophic chemical breach has shut down the delawareridge in the middle of holiday traffic. drivers have been stuck for hours. the bridgeonnects delawar and marijuana. closing it has snarled traffic in both states. a highly flammable gas leangd this eveni from a chemical plant. exposure cause lung damage and nausea, but the biggest concern is that the fumesould ignite. the traffic authority hopes to reopen the bridge before the morning rush. traffic nightmares did not stop there. a blizzard that cut across the rocky mountains is now pounding parts of the midwest. video from earlier today shows s the conditions in kancity. new tonight, the kansas governor has declared a state of part of an interstate has now been shut down. authorities are warning drivers to stay off the roins. that same storm system hitting kansas city pushead through col this morning. some places in the central part of the state have been forced to open shelters. more than three feet of snow slammed some mountain communities.
