warning. they have warnings in place.n? aaro >> melissa, thank you. 5:02 now. today we're hoping to learn more about the lockdown situation at walter reed. >> security and montgomery unty police swarmed the medical center tuesday afternoon when an alert went out for an active shooter. it turned out to be a false alarm. part of ross could he pike was shut down. from chopper 4 you can see staff exiting building 19 with their hands up. standard procedure. people were told to shelter in place after a short time the navy announced the alert was meant to be used for a future drill. was sent by accident and did not r ve the words exercise drill.ry nd congressman was there at the time. >> a lot of people in the room were upset. a woman was crying and she u couldn't pic her daughter and she couldn't get ahold of her husband. there was a lot of emotion.

repeat domestic violence suspect is set to join the roster. news broke that the 'skins acquired him yesterday. chris lawrence has details and n reac what are people saying? >> reporter: well, mixed, reactieun. we've learned that the redskins spoke with several of their own players who used to play with reuben foster in college at alabama. they apparently spoke highly of him. what's not clear is that team officials never actually called the tampa police. that arrest happened t at grand hyatt hotel where the 49ers were in town to play theee buccrs. in that police report foster's girlfriend claims that he slapped the phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest and then slapped her face with his open hand. t now thing is it's not foster's first run-in with the law.ry back in janua he was arrested on possenaion of marijua charges and in february on felony domestic violenc charges
