earthquake in our area in 2011. d the earthquake that happened today in alaska was 63 times t strongn our earthquake, but it is important to note that the ground, the geology, is a lot different. but to kind of give you some perspective. checkt out, alaska is kind of familiar with earthquakes. they average 40,000, yes, 40,000 earthquakes a year. that is more than the entire othe 49 states combined. but since the magnitude 7 happened, they have already had about a dozen or so aftershocksf4.0 or greater. and when we say magnitude, this is exponentially. it is not just like counting your birthday. an equalmount of days. it really shoots up with the damage that we're seeing and a lot of that is especially cosmetic when you see the grocery stores, all the wine bottles and products off of the shelves. and we're also seeing structural damage especially with roads and
