hearing for the first time from one of thepe people who h a woman who had been sexually assaulted in prince george's county. woman told prince george's ounty detectives she was walking home from the metro station early monday morning in temple hills when the dark colored car here pulled up alongside her on curtis drive. she was held at gun point, forced insi c of that and sexually assaulted by two men. the woman was forced out of the car in southeast d.c a resident heard her knock on his door. >> no shoes or anything. they took everything from her. i had to get her oes, clothes, jacket and everything. i didn't think nothing of it. i mean, y n see somebodds help, you just do it. i mean, you don't second judge yourself. you just, you know, you help that person, especially a female knocking on your >> police released this image captured by a bank atm camera it southe.c. showing one >uspect using the victim's debit card.

his morning d.c.'s police chief blames the city soarier muate on illegal guns in the wrong hands. there have been 152 murders this year. that i up 40 from 2017. many of those cases remain unsolved and many of the victims are young men. d.c. police chief be there are three reasons why young people are carrying illegal firearms. >> one, they will will say it'si for prot. and i think, two, they carry it because it's glamorous and everything that they're seeing out there in the world. and then the last one is a lack. of consequence >> the chief says these four men are murder suspects still on t run. police need the community's help to find them and other suscts. the mayor's signature could put an end to gas powered leaf blowers in the district. >> the d.c. council already approved a measure to ban them.
