a nativity scene in massachusetts is causing some christmas controversy. it shows the baby jesus inside a cage, a t theee wise men separated from mary and joseph by fence barrier. so you can imagine why this is trying to make a statement, perhaps. church officials want to send a message about the country's ongoing immigration debate and how those at the border are being treated. not everyone likes it, but the church says that's the point. a lot of people he said jesus was a refugee and made that point. so that's anongoing debate.
