are remembering her this evening. darcy? >> reporter: well, that's right, erica. her aunt spoke to news4li e today. she said this young woman would have done anything for anyone s and the family just want know why this happened. let's take a look at her photo. this was diamond moore. she was 20 years old and a recent graduate of tc williamsh high schoo in alexandria. you see her in her cap and gown. she had been a college student. now, this all happened yester y yesterday. weou want to show video from the scene of the murder. it happened at 9:45n the morning, she was found shot in the 5500 block not too f fro where she lived. a 32-year-old man was arrested, and he has been charged with murder. sed hishave not rel photo and they're not saying any specifics about why he was connected to this case. and why this happened.

it's the north. and it is pressing down really keeping the dry,de c air to the north and that precip to the south. that why this line is just so stark just like that. but this system is going to continue toriove and some wintry weather to the east coast including the carolinas, so you can see where the impact is going to be at this point. really on the north carolina/virginia border that's where the wll see thatter weather. for us, we don't have any alerts in place right now. as far as the chances go, now, the chances rlly ride onow far this system can kind of nudge northward. but it's fighting against that high pressure. you saw it was keeping af lot us dry in the north of the system. maybe a 10% chance for some flakes andflurries. north of here we're dry. you don't have anything to worry about. now, farther south, this is wher our best chance -- i'm going 20 to 30% in southern maryland.f parts fauquier and then out to culpepper, youould see some snow tomorrow. leepts time -- let's time this

out. 9:00 a.m. we're still dry. just a lot of clouds in the area. by about 3:00 p.m. that's when we start to see the system brush us. this is just brushing areas like southern maryland. that's where you see the blue of the snow. here is thered. you can see how it changes over to a little bit of rain. some are may a rain/snow mix that's until 11:30 p.m. after that, the system i moving out. so this is a very short event in our area. that meanscthe im will also be relatively low because by monday morning 8:00 a.m., not only are we dry, but we are clear with plenty of sunshine. so planning out your fsunday, those in the d.c. metro area temperatures won't break the mid to upper 30s. our chances of seeing snow are very limited. but we cld see a few flakes and flurries until 6:00 or 7:00. the forecast is different though if you live in southern maryland and areth of the district. you are looking at the greatest chance for some isnow. th low impact to moderate
