reaking newsget to out of west virginia tonight. a chicago-bound amtrak train that left union station slammed into a big rig near harpers ferry. that train left d.c. at 5:30 with 108 passengers and cw onboard. it hit the truck in the town of ranson. people ran to get it off the tracks, but couldn't move it in time. here you see video. amtrak says no one was hurt in the crash, but this is going to impact tomorrow morning's commute. because of the crash, thereill be no mark service in west virginia at all.st the f train will leave brunswick just after 6:00 in th mornin jurors are resting at home tonight. tomorrow,nu they con deliberating how much time james fields will spend in prison. h fields dis car into a crowd of counter protesters at a white nationalist rally in arlottesville last year. today, jurors listened and a

joint statement tonight, saying a shutdown would be the republicans' choice. two high profile cases of domestic violence involving nfl players in the last two weeks. one of them, signed by the redskins after he was cut because of the accusation. thefo reubeer and kareem hunt cases have the nfl facing criticism from all directions, including female fans. news 4's jacki bsen spoke to nfl director of security kathy ndneer about that,more, in an interview you'll only see on news 4. jackie? >> reporter: well, doreen, during her time as police chief in washington, d.c., kathy laneer was known as a compassiate advocate for crime victims. she sat down with me to talk about two cases that are causi troubling headlines for the nfl, both involving violence against women. this is police body camera video of an investigation into the february report of a domtic argument between linebacker reuben foster and ann again,

off again girlfriend. no chargesere filed that night, but nine months later, he was arrested for aaulting the me woman in florida. >> when it comes to domestic violenceak the league tes that very, very seriously. >> reporter: though foster w laimed after waivers by the redskins just 72 hours aft he was released by the 49ers, his future is uncertain. he is on the commissioner's exempt list. part of theleague's protocol for dealing with domestic violence in the wake of the 2014 ray rice scandal. >> this is very strict protocol, all the way through ther system domestic violence, which is where reuben foster is right now. so, where that ends up, we don't know yet, but it may be the position, when this is all over, that he's not ever playing. i mean, we don't know where that's going to end up. >> reporter: despite a couple of recent high profile cases, she claims the nfl' destic violence education is showing

firefighters have sounding the alarm, after a whole bunch of dryer fires. over a period of ten days, prince george's county crews responded to 20 residential and commercial dryer fires. the problem is lint, it's very flammable, and cold weather can make it more dangerous. >> with it being cold and moist and then that hot warm air coming in,oiit's to stay clinging to the hose and the vent itself, causing a buildu of the lint. >> we're working for you with ways to preven a dryer fire. clean the lint filter in the
