in pedestrian overpass at a station in turkey's capital. kelly cobiella has been following this. good morning. >> good morning to you. nine people are now confirmed dead in this. this high-speed train was supposed to staail through this station. es was five mnto its trip when it barreled into a maintenance train on the same track. the high-speed train a pile of mangledal this morning. a pedestrian bridge in pieces on top ofrs it. resculling bodies from the wreckage. they scrambled in the dark for hours trying to free passengers from the twisted train. more than 200 were on board. dozens were hurt. some able to walk away. but at least three are critically injured. dthe crash happene in the early morning hours at atation west of the capital. ankara's governor said the high-speed train hit another train inspecting the crash.
