ewc. police. shomari stone, n4. i'm leon hris athe live desk with two pieces of breaking news in the russia investigation. this is the summary of michael flynn's interview withhe fbi in january of 2017. an interview in which he now admits he lied to the fbi. now, thisas just released tonight, and as you can see, a lot of it has been redacted, , it will be some time before we figure out everything in it. but the ertails show flynn told fbi investigators he did withiscuss u.s. sanctions russia during the presidential transition. those sanctions, by the way, im sed by the obama administration for russia's attempts to influence the 2016 election. flynn has since admitted he did talk to russia's then ambassador about those sanctions. also tonight, "the washington post" reports that russia's targeted social media disinformation campaign continued well after president

trump's eleion andt even went so far as to try to discredit robert mueller himself. "the post" says russian operatives used fake social media accountso spread lies about mueller's past. even attempting to link him to islamic extremists. that information comes from two reports created for the senate intellig now, as for flynn, he will be sentenced tomoramw. mueller's as recommended no jail time for him because of his extensiop ation, but the final decision is up to the judge. jim, back tyou. >> leon, thank you. also breaking tonight, two police officers in chicago were hi and killed by a train. those officers were responding to a shots fired call when a t commuterin hit them on the city's south side. investigators recovered a weapon and they're questioning a pson of interest in this case right now. the train that hit the officers carries commuters from northern indiana into chicago. it's since stopped running. no other injuries have been reported. the officers had each w beenith

amazon's new campus moves in. it's going to mean big change for the area that will soon bea called nional landing. arlington county officials and news 4's jackie bensen heard tonight from some of the people who will be most impacted. jackie? jim, the er: well, board members told people, tell us what you're worriedabout. the overwhelming number one response? traffic. >> and i think it will help mitigate the traffic that we're all concerned about. >> our concern is the capacity of our existing roadways. >> arlington ridge road is already over capacity. and i think this is just going to be a problem. >> transit wason >> reporter: transportation was at the top of the list of concerns among the arlington residents who packed the cafeteria at the middle school. they wanted to know how much of an impact the estimated 25,000 additional jobs headed to crystal city, pentagon city and potomacard in the next few years will have in an area that

already struggles with traic. this was the scene just last month after metro closed two stations, national airport and rystal city, for yellow line repairs and improvements. >> route one is so backed up, everybodtis c down on e-street and fern street and it's getting worse. so -- particularly on the holidays when the airport gets backed up. >> reporter: county officials told those assembled amazon would be obligated to create one parking spot for every six employees. hasome questioned whether might push some to park on residential streets. >> you're going to try toark more cars in our neighborhood, wherehere's zone parking. and that's worse to me. >> reporter: in an interview with news 4, board chair katie crystal stressed t important role of a revitalized metro system. >> so, we want to make sure we are the capacity to get all of those employees, or as many as possible, riding transit to minimize any impact on the traffic, roads. so, that's one of our top ones.
