princge's county election officials say they're changing the way they predict rnter tut. >> dozens of precincts ran out f of ballots. the polls wer supposed to have closed. what is the county doing to keep it from happening again? >> the key is they willo

longer use prior voter turnouts to predict how many ballots they need. me hadore voters last month than the 2016residential election. now they will consider the number of registered voter assigned to each polling place. nearly 30 precincts ran out of paper ballots. the news4 i-team crunched the numbernd found some only had 30 to 35% voter bturnout that was more than predicted even though they overestimated from the state law required. the state comptroller sits on the board and has been critical of the county's performance. >> how about common sense? how about accountability? how about reonsibility? hopefully, we will improve. >> in the future, poll workers will be required to document number ballots they have on hand
