hours away fro a partial government shutdown if congress up the president don't com with an agreement to keep the federal government open. >> they havehe short-term spending bill that includes $5 billion to build a wall along the u.s.-mexico border. now the new bill goes to the senate for ira consion that passed a separate bill that did not include funding for the wall. the senate i expected to meet at noon today. however many senators have already lef for the christmas break. president trump met with republican congressional leaders yesterday and insisted any bill should i flude fundi the wall. >> anyeasure that funds the government should include border security. not for political services but for our country. >> president trump is plungg the country into chaos. >> more than 400,000 federal workers are stuck in limbo. they could go without a paycheck over the holidays.

virginia are looking o for onef four people that entered an inactive coal mine later this month. they're looking for the man able to get out on his own while the others had to be rescued two days later. they illegally entered the mine that's been inactive for about two years. the mother of of the people believes they were in the mine to steal copper. the judge set aside arguments that they acted improperly. three charges stem against him claiming that he raped a woman in 2013he pled not guilty to the sex crime charges earlier this year. he says he is innocent of a charges. >> it's now 5:37. now to that girl groped at the library. montgomery county police are releasing these photos o a m they call the person of
