another scene approximately two blocks away at a nearby park. we have been standing here and people have been driving by asking what happened, shocked to see that a woman was stabbed across the street at this church. a woman stabbed toea dth outside raphael catholic community church in rockville, maryland. police found the body around 6:00 friday evening. >> it occurred at a very public place at a busy time in the evening. it's very >> reporter: police say the woman's body was found near this flag pole. homicide detectigs rop off the entrance and they're looking for surveillance cameras inside and outside the church. have you identified the victim or the suspect? >> at this point we're still working. >> reporter: we know police took photos of this nearby car at the local park. they're investigating to see if it belongs to t killer. for people in this neighborhood

area. the family of a young man killed by a stray bullet tells news4 they are thankful for the d.c. police detectivesho made an arrest in their son's case. 22-year-old tom maet was driving home after a day of vonteering. th aspiring social worker was shot in his jeep i northeast back in october. now d.c. policeay barry marable is charged in the murder. the arrest means he can startsi fo on other victims, his father says. >> the future for us is going to be dedicated to trying to hel other victims of crime in the stem th trying to help flow of guns onto our streets. >>arraable is charged with first degree murder. we are a week into the ow
