amy has more on the price hike. good morning. happy new year. >> good morning. yeah. starting today, if you plan on changing dulles toll road your wallet will feel lighter. the main toll plaza is going up by 75 cents. the ramps are going up by 50 cents, so you're looking at an extra $1.25 each way or 2.50 round trip that money will go towards maintenance on dulles toll road and building the silver line extension ofat metr as been a controversial toll hike. r lot of drivers say they don't think it's fai they have to fund the sver line. some people held a protest saying they think airlines should have toay some of the burden but the toll hikes are here to stay. this is the first time the tolls have gone up since 2014, and highwa officials hope not t raise the tolls again until 2023. thank you very much. today kicks off inauguration

police picked him up a few hou later. starting today jeffersons daighway will be named richmond highway in alexandria. the city council voted 6-0o rename that portion of road. the city alexandria created an advisory group in 2015 to look into confederate memorials and street names. in the pasthour, police reopened the fairfax county parkway after aeadly cident. this crash happened last night between roberts road in burke. one person died on the scene of that two-car crash. three other people had to be to the hospital. no word on what caused the crash or the extent of the other peoples injuries. we have an update on a crash that killed three children suay night. the children were siblings. 5-year-old twins and their 1-year-old baby brother. >> we're also learning the crash may have been caused bay drunk driver. alexis and juanita mejia a
