accident. and big changes in the forecast. we're getting you weather ready, as you get into your 2019 routine. news 4 at 11:00 starts now. and developing first at 11:00 tonight, a u marine killed at a barracks up on capitol ll. good evening, i'm jim handly. tonight, new questions whether that death was an accident or an act of negligence. jackie bensen is live for us tonight near the barracks. >> reporr: jim, i think it's accurate to say this is not believed to be any type criminal or sinister act, but because is under investigation by the military, we may never know exactly what happened here. marine corps officials confirm the marine was on duty and in uniform at the time heus sined a single gunshot wound to the head. >> there was no threat and there currently is no threat to local residents in the area.

increase. in northwest, darcy spencer, news 4. it's been a deadly a troubling start to the year on our roads. last night, a young woman lost control of her car, she crash into a tree near st. charles parkway andt. mark's drive. tonight, she's in critical condition. her sister,ol 15-year-, died. now, to reston, a 16year-old as killed by a hit and run driver on sunday. that teen was trying to css the street near south lakes drive and castle rock square. xin fair county, a 20-year-old erman died last night when she lost control of car, she ran into another vehicle on the fairfax coupay way, right near new road. and tragedy for the family of three young siblings. the children were all killed late sunday night, a suspected drunk driver slammed into the family car on indianead highway in oxen hill. a prayer service was held today
