official. we've bn told he's not being forced out by the white house, that this is his ownte ion, despite the fact he's been a frequent target of criticism from president trump's twitter attacks on the justice department. these officials say he plans to remain on the job until the new attorney general is nfirmed. after pushing out jeff sessions in november, president trump nominated william barr to be attorney general. he'll b at the capitol today ahead of his confirmation dearing. rosenstein conside resigning last fall but decided to stay on the job. >> one of the big questions is what does this mean to robert muelr and theussia investigation? >> if it wubt for that, we wouldn't beut talking a the deputy attorney general. rosenstein has been in that role since jeff sessions has been he cuesed. even with the arrival of matt whitaker, rosenstein has continued top h supervise the
