financial crimes not the 2016 campaign. the hearing is set for february 7th, which is shortly before cohen reports to .pris >> now to breaking news in prince george's county. the m convicted of killing a police detective is learning how long he'll spe in prison. he was killed in 2016. let's go to wendy rieger at the live desk. >> reporter: the sentencing hearing started at 1:30 this afternoon. we're still waiting to hear from the judge. michael ford facing decades behind bars because in 2016 he opened fire on the police station in landover. the detective colson was one of the officers sponding, but he was in off duty and in plain cot clothes at the timen he was mistor the attackers and accidentally shot by a fellow

officer. ford was convicted of second degree murder although he did notl technically klson. back toyo in september, if you'll remember, a wom watched as fire engulfed her prince orge's county apartment building and she prayed her unit would be spared, and it was. a month later she said she's being blockm retrieving her belongings. chris gordon is live in new karlton. there maybe a glimmer of hope for this tenant now, is that right? >> reporter: yeah that's because we found somebody today who may be willing to listen a help her. andrea franklin was in tears today as she talked about standing her in september watching flames go across her apartment. her unit was spared but she said trying to get her possessions out has been a real nightmare.

you have the enhancement around the mountains. snow shoe, west virginia picking up 8 inches of snow the last two days. here comes the snow for us, making its way in during the day on saturday, most likely afternoon and picking up saturday night. we expect the heaviest to be saturday night into early sunday. notice by sunday morning we g a little bit of a lull and then we may see the storm itself to the south move our way. ife d it will be additional impact and that's what we're for this right now forecast. here's the snow forecast. 1 to 3 inches areas on 270 around the beltway. to theouth 3 to 5, places like fredericksburg. with a little bit more on what to expect in your area, here's amelia region by region. >> the beltway and to the north you'll see 1 to 3 inches. but a high likelihood everyone sees at least an inch of snow. we don't put out our map until

zones. an inch to three around d.c. and back into the mountains 4 to 6 inches. with a little bit more on the impact of this snow, let's go to the storm center, amelia looking at the impact. we're starting with the bread meter? >>bread-o-meter? hat works. we thought the forecast was up to grab a loy. to with the latest information coming in, we're nowhere near the stock up for a week nge. the d.c metro area, if the pantry is empty go to the store north of 66. south of 66, you may want to grab a loaf. that's where we're forecasting three to five inche snow chances across the area, the d.c. metro area just about everybody here is going to see an inch.

that chance you're seeing an inch or more is really high still at 80%. the chance for 4 inches or more, lower, maybe 40%. and this isn't going to be a storm system weet 8 inches. that chance is less than 10%. one to three inches in the d.c. 66 o area, south of especially down through southern maryland, fredericksburg, stafford and king george area. if you have dinner plans out saturday night, this is the time period we're going to see thet biggimpact snow is looking to be widespreadll g. church on sunday, should you go? should you stay home? snow is possible. we could be in the lull doug was showing through. the morning commute, we're back to business as usual by at least 9:00 a.m. if not a little bit earlier. so maybe som school delays, doug, especially well south of washington if we get the second wave later on sunday.
