12 pages, so disturbing. what struck you about this? >> when read through the complaint, it's the callousness of this premeditated kriechlt it reads like a script from a horror you have patterson allegedly in his own words, talking about how he identified jayme while she was getting on a school bus. from that point , the way he planned this crime, there was nothing that was going to stop him from getting to her including murdering his parents. he shaved his head so he wouldn't leave dna behind, wiped the gun, how he bought a mask. >> even removed, according to the papers, removed the trunk device that allows a kidnappin victim to get out. >> you look a his history. most criminals don't go from zero to c a horriblme like this. what do you think the odds are that he wasn't on somebody's radar at some point? >> we don't know what we don't know, what type ofy active

may have been engaged in. that's exactly what investigators will be looking for right w. they're going to be looking for any time of electronic devices, photographs on a phone, his internet search history. they'll be doing extensive investigation and interviews related to neighbors. people he went to schoolith and that sort of thing. >> you don't think this would be this guy's first crime,o you, just in your experience? >> i think in the course ofiohis investig there are a lot more questions than answers. as they go through this, they will find actions or activities he's been involved in, things he said, activity, perhaps some trauma early on infeis >> there's still a lot of questions about what exactly his motive. you can speculate, but no one really knows why he did this. >> that's right. there's aype of kidnapping called expressive. where the actl taking the victim is an end onto itself, where they look to dominate o put pressure on somebody, somehow victimizeth . that looks to be what happened here, there was no ransom

complex operation. you can see why. that's the actual opening this little boy fell. do his parents say they saw him disappear below groun sunday afternoon and immediately called for help. on this spanish hillside, rescuers are literally movings mounta to save 2-year-old yulan, digging a parallel well hoping to reach him deep under ppground. he s into the hole sunday during a picnic with his parents. he screamed out as he fell. he hasn't been heard from sense. rescueorkers spotted his bag of candy 240 feet down, but not yulan. they couldn't move their gear any deeper. the operation, delicate and dangerous because the well is justen inches wide, too small for aadult and 330 feet deep, as deep as the statue of liberty is tall, and the wls may be
