clear out of the way. you want to take an alternate way. brad, you were there before we had police response on the scene. how have you seen things develop here? >> well, melissa, that's an interesting thing. we were watching the emergency vehicles slowly making their way toward this scene and the reason why with all lanes ful of bumper to bumper traffic, they were having a hard time getting around just down those icy shoulders before old georgetown road. the center screen with the overturned pickup truck. i want to s you something with chopper 4's incredible camera. this will be the delay, seven the back approaching mormon temple. this is pretty much solid delays from i-95 coming through silver spring and i'm hearing right now they may be starting to divert traffic off on to 355. either way, d you'reinitely want to think about using the icc to get through montgomery unty. old georgetown road will be your best entrance to the inner loop at the capit beltway to get you past this whole thing without further delay.

damage after an earthquake, take a look at thi map here, an earthquake hit off the coast of maryland. according to the u.s. geologic survey the 4.7 magnitude quake hit around 6:30ni lastt. the epicenter was reported 136 miles southeast of ocean city. there are no reports of damage so far. now to breaking news to the rescue effort involving a toddler in spain. chris lawrence has been tracking this story for us from the live desk. we can tell you local officials in spain say that samples of the boy's dna were present inside a well where he fell on sunday. we take a look at the size of the well here. rescue teams have been working nonstop trying to get that little boy out and now teams are actually trying to dig a second tunnel alongside this narrow well to make this rescue a bit easier and faster. officials estimate they can reach the area where the boy is or where theyhink he is within about 48 hours. we also learned that a swedish firm which helped rescue 33

slushy, icy mess after this weekend's snowstorm. this is bradley lane in chevy chase, maryland last night. >> drivers had to negotiate those narrow streets and very slipperyonditions to get by. a tow truck driver says this stretch of road kept him very busy the lastew day. news 4 justin finch is tracking the wintry roaontions you might find this morning. how is it looking out there, justin? reporter: well, eun, it's still looking like people need to slow down on the roads. i can tell youor that sure. those primary streets look pretty clear. lots of black top but still there are slick p ches out there that you want to steer clear of and also, too, here on bradley lane, we are seeing what that tow truck driver was talking about. take a look at bradley at its worst. b this isdley lane between connecticut and wisconsin avenue. as you can see, he has been very busy along this stretch. having to assist vehicles that were somehow impacted by this very narrow but still very ice-coveredtreets in parts. lots of slush in slick spots
