going. the driver hit the victim while the person was walking near summerfield road this evening. witnesses tell police the driver was i a dark colored truck. officers closed the roads in that area to investigate. other breaking special counsel robert mueller's office issues a rare public statement tonit, disputing parts of the huge "buzzfeedor that everyone has been talking about for the past 24 hours. the report say the president personally instructed his long-time lawyer, michael cohen, to lie to the congress about a deal forower in russia. the specicounsel's office said this, quote, "buzzfeed's" deceion of specific statements in the special counsel's offid, statements made by michael cohen to the office are not

accurate. according to nbc news, robert mueller appears to be disputing that the special counsel office had obtained trump documents. "buzzfeed" is standing byheir reporting. president trump preparing to go before the american peopl a wiajor announcement on the government shutdown and the southern border. he's expected to roll out a new proposal with specific ideas the administration thinks could lead to an end to the shutdown. this evening mr. trump tweeted out this video calling on democrats to join him to secure the border. we got a look today at how much the shutdown is impacting people. we saw long lines outside the new life worship center? capitol heights. furloughed workers cam out for a special furlough relief market. the church collected nearly 40,000 pounds of food for those affected by the shutdown.
