rain/snow mix. temperatures in 3 the 0s. farther rth, frederick seeing actual snow coming down. that is changing to rain now as temperatures continue to risein waon, d.c., area, all green. farther north, it's spotty but changing over.ll we are st seeing a little bit of snow the farther west you go in maryland. so here's a look at the current temperatures. i want to talk about this because somethingis interesting going to happen. believe it or not, we are going to warm up. usually we cool down overnight. we've got a surge of warmair that's going to try to nudge its way in. temperatures now have gone up to abut 40 degrees in washington, d.c. you see where that stark line of demarcation is. still cold farther west. let me show you where that warm air is situated right now. farther south, down toward richmond, in the 50s. we're going to start to see that move into our area. but followed by that will be a very quick change. stick around. we've got some dangerous cold to talk about. for now, back to you. >> all right. thank you. by now you haveikely seen this video blowing up on social

er> the death toll has risen tonight a this deadly explosion in central mexico. at least 73 people have died. authorities say thieves punctured a gasoline pipeline last night as parts of the country rema in the grip of gas shortages. n's sarah harmon has the details. >> reporter: a massive fireball fills the night sky, sending flames and smoke soaring. triggered, authorities say, by gas thieves drilling into a pipeline. these images from before the st deadly b show fuel gushing like a fountain as hundreds rush to collect in plastic containers. border, that maso dixon line. we have seen most of our wintry weather as expected.u farther , just rain. let's take a look at the areas that are still under that weather advisory as a result of the snow that we saw earlier as well as sleet, freezing rain. it wasust pretty nasty the farther north you went. areas in the dker pink there are actually under a winter storm warning, okay. so this winter weather advisory wraps up at 6:00 a.m. we are through theworst of it. frederick county, maryland, starting to see some improvements as it changes just over to rain. now the other advisory i want to brief you on is the wind advisory. that doesn't go into effect until tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. it will stick around all day until about 7:00 p.m. ith that wind advisory, some of the winds could be damaging. we're talking gustsut of the northwest at 15 miles per hour. t will also add a bite to the temperatures, meaning windchills will be below zero tomorrow ni t. as far as the winter weather advisory goes, like i said, wrapping up, we're on the tail end this. we have seen snow, sleet,

freezing rain, especially the farther north and west you've gone from thedistrict. re's a look at the system. it's the fullbreadth her you see where the stark line is farther north in pennsylvania. they're really see that snow come down. for us, it's really just rain in the washington, d.c., metro area. light to moderate. you go a little fartherwest, i was looking at leesburg there. some reports of snowflakes coming d'sn. theally changing over to rain. freezing rain the farther north and west yougo. as we head through the next couple of hours, notice the 2:00 a.m., still raining. about 7:00 a.m., notice the heavy band showers that's going to start to move and push through southern maryland into annapolis and crossing the bay there. we'll dry things out. one thing to keep ae eye on is the wrap-around moisture as cold air moves in. you may see spotty flakes tomorrow morning. but no accumulation expected. now by tomorrow afternoon, we're dry. we're clear, but boy are we
