route 210 reopened. you can see traffic running behind me here. n but that wasot the case a short time ago. let's look at the video. this all began around midnight. george's en prince county police got the report of a death in th accokeek area he on route 210. officers respond to that death investigation, made the decision to shut down the highway. so police cruisers came to the area of pine drive and livingston. they were closing down theer highway so that the other officers, investigating the death, couldir do the work as one of the officers in a cruiser was manning that detour, a southbound traveling suv struck the cruiser, and thenent off the roadway. now, they were transported to the hospital.ol i'm gnat officer is in stable condition. no updates on the pern who was driving that suv. but anonngoing investiga really involving two different scenes here. the initial call which was a

after midnight. the decision was made as part of the investigation to shut down the highway in both directions. and the video gnaw see here is of a police crouser, a prince y george's couolice cruiser in the area actually making that detour at pine drive. and as the officer was in their cruiser an suv traveling southbound on indian head highwaytruck the cruiser, the suv then went off the side of the road. the oth of those people, officer and the striking driver, both taken to the hospital. the officer i'm td is in stable condition. don't have an update on the driver of the suv at this point. i should mention that everything has reopened but certainly a lot of estions, including exactly what happened with that initial death investigation, which we have n learned involves a law enforcement official or a law enforcement officer. so lots of unanswered questions.
