roger stone was the president's former adviser. he was arrested today in florida after an indictment by a federal grand jury. innt a state the special counsel's office saying the indictment contains seven counts, one count of obstruction, five counts of count tatements and one of witness tampering. special counsel robert mueller has had his eye on stonehi over alleged connection to wikileaks and hacked democratic e-mails released by the sitdu ng the 2016 campaign. stone for his part has ny collusion nied with wikileaks. according to those court documents, stone wasta ced by senior trump campaign officials to inquire about futures relea of wikileaks e-mails. the documents also said sne informed senior trump campaign officials he had information indicating they had ocuments damaging to the clinton vedn th stages of the trump campaign has recently said, i will never

co-who worked with roger stone. all these connections lead us to the trump campaign. we know a senior trump campaign official was directed, not sure who he was directedby, to in touch with roger stone and they texted him well done after a big what this does is it paints a picture of who roger stone was to t trump campaign. he came off of their payrolls in august of 2015, but during this crucial time period around the summ of 2016 into the fall when these wikileaks dumps started to occur that released i information, e exchanged between the democratic national committee, roger stone w not a free agent merely giving gifts to the trump campaign. he was actuallyn touch with him and they knew what was ldming and he was trying to preview what w come next. they wanted more information from roger stone, and it's clear he was not acting on his n, but he was in direct contact with very senior officials within the campaign. >> julia nainsley, ourional
