news 4 at 11:00 starts now. >> the shutdown is over. president trump signed a bill re-opening the federal government. >> that's right. and we've got all the angles covered for you tonight. here's what to expect. the agreement doesn't exactly include the president's border wall, but he's o pushing back conservative criticism that he conceded on that matter. also we look a the prior signals that mr. trump sent that the shutdown was coming to an end. and when furloughed workers will get paid and return to work. we begin with nbc's jennifer johnson with how this deal got done. >> reporter: from the rose garden, preside trump announcing a temporary end to the partial government shutdown, the longest in h u.s.tory. >> i will sign a bill to oper overnment for three weeks until february 15th.

wednesday night. nobody was hurt and police say there is no indication that this fire is linked ton incident in with a which a man military rifle opened fire inside the restaurant. he was there investigating a viral internet rumor that's known as pizzagate now. no one was injured. developing tonight, house speaker nancy pelosi lashes out at roger stone and president trump. in a statement, the speaker says stone's indictment shows a coordinated attempt by top trump campaign officials to influenceo the 2016 eleand undermine the will of the people. the fbi arrested stone in connection to the russia investigation. the former trump campaign adviser is accused of lying to the house intelligence committee about his interactions with wikileaks during the 2016 election cycle. after getting out on bail today, stone defiantly stood by the president. >> i will plead t not guilt these charges. i will defeat them in court.

weather headline, our next storm system moves in later tuesday. looks like we'll have rain changing over to snow. ithe depends on timing and track of this storm as to how much rain versus how much snow we could s out there on tuesday, but what is definite is that the polar plunge mov in to our area on wednesday. right now our temperatures are in the 20s and 30s. 32 in washington, 24 in gating gaithersburg. a high temperature tomorrow of 44 after startg off in the suburbs in the teens to low 20s. in washingto tomorrow morning of 26 degrees. now, on sunday we're warmer a high temperature of 49 degrees. there is the small chance on sunday that there is a light rain or snow swer west of washington. but a very small chance. the latest information coming io isng that the weekend is really looking dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine out there both days. this will be ourirst dry weekend in three weeks. so the weather definitely having a lown impact your plans.
