for just about everybody, all of the counties in purple. this is the entroe d.c. m area. for the most part it runs from noon until midnight.t but starts early north of washington and later to the south. so download our nbc washington app to get more about the advisory and your exact location. for the most part, we'll be tracking a wintry mix changing to all snow betwe 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. is when we'll see that happen. we're going to see about 1 inches of snow and as we see that changeover line up with the ening commute, it's going to likely be messy out there. i think the schools cs sing earlying to be the right call. here are your road conditions tomorrow morning. north of washington, montgomery, loudoun, frederick counties, there's a chance forsl isolated k roads mainly just wet roads with most of our temperatures above freezing. then temperatures fall and we see that changeover during the evening commute. we're looking at widespread, snow-covered and slick roads. i'm going to have much more on the time being and the impacts.

the civil rights organization invited members of the community to participate in discussions tonight here at the mt.go verno rnmental center. last week, dozens of flyers containing racist propaganda were dropped in front of businesses and homes the day before martin luther king day. organizers tonight saytopping incidents like these begins with a strong sense of community. >> power of association allows you to build trust and confidence across the lines that we usually see as dividing lines. >> last week'sncident is not the first time kkk flyers have been found in loudoun county. similar flyers were distributed last year before t dr. king holiday and again in february. flyers have also been found in halloween candy bags. a million dollar settlement over a faulty product used on metro's sver line.

a whistle blower reported in 2016 that universal concre products falsified records. prosecutors say those records would have shown that the concrete's air content that was installed would mak it more likely to crack. the concrete had been installed on t second phase of metro'ssi lver line extension to dulles international airport and in loudoun county. a special coating will be applied to keep the concrete that was previously installed from cracking. some good news for teachers in virginia today. the house appropriatis committee is including a 5% pay raise in its budget. >> i know, you know. i know, you know. virginia can do better. >> the news comes as teachers rally here at the state capitol this morning for higher spending on edge daucation. the governor supports that 5% pay hike. he says it's getting tougher to recruit and retain quality teachers. coming up next here at 11:00, can you imagine this?

east i-95 dealing with rain temperatures above freezing. back, though, to the north and west, loudoun, frederick counties, parts of west virginia still seeing snow and maybe some moderate snow falling. this is thatovchan. it really happens between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. any rai becomes all snow as temperatures fall to belowfr zing. then we continue to track snow until 10:00 p.m. until dnight. then it moves out of area and cold air and gusty winds move in. here's the snowfltotals. through tomorrow night and most of the accumulation is going to occur durin the evening urs. we're not talking about a lot. mostg of us only about a coat to 2 inches. that's part of southern montgomery county.x, fairrince george's, arlington, alexandria, the distri, anne arundel county. loudon and frederick, will see 2 to 3 inches. isolated amounts in the darker shade of blue, 4 inches of snowfall.
