the bus when the shooting started. ambulances began rushing four shooting victims to local hospitals just after 5:00 p.m. police say a command level officer from the 6th distrast station near the intersection of pennsylvania and minnesota avenues southeast when he heard four to six gunshots near the bus stop. he found people trying to help a little girl who w injured, officials say not by gunfire but possibly by broken glass. >> we do believe that the shooting happened here at pennsylvania and minnesota avenue, and as a result the victims fled to sheety and ty were able toocate -- or the locations in the 6th district. it was very unfortunate someone would do such a horrific act with these many people out at the location. at nearby liquor store has least two cameras mounted outside. police are trying to determine if they captured images of the suspects. the bus stop is one of the busiest in the city.
