resign." lthis letter delivered thatest bombshell to hit one of virginia'sop elected leaders, lieutenant governor justin fairfax. it contains a second allegation of sexual assault made by a woman named meredith watson. she says she was raped by justin fairfax whe they were at duke university back in 2000. the attorney's letter reads, quote, mr. fairfax's attack was premggitated andssive. the two were friends but never dated or had any romanti lationship. the statement also says the alleged victim told friends about the incident immediately afterwards and shared details in e-mails and on socl media. the lieutenant governor issuing this statement in response. "i deny this latestia unsubstad allegation. it is demonstrably false. i hav never forced myself on anyone ever. i will clear my good name and i havehing to hide." here's what lieutenant governor told reporterss he entered the capitol earlier today, hours before the latest accusation.

antipsychotic drugs and saw a team of therapists. he was also prevented from owning or driving a car.l weeep you covered on what happens there. back to you in the studio. >>n, lhank you. maybe you watched "dateline" before news 4 this evening. well, tonight, a made formu tv er case ends with a guilty verdict here in montgomery county. tell us it was a crime of creed. news 4's jackie ben n in rockville tonight with a look at how the suspect helped police crack this case. jackie? >> reporter: well, jim, lloyd walters initially confessed to committing the murder and it ppened during a dramatic video that shows him walking into a po.ce station after the cri cause for alarm. setember 6h, 2017, lloyd walters, then 51, walked fairly steady on his feet into theme mont county police third district station in the white oak area, but his words and the

huge patch of blood on his shirt quickly made it clear to the officer who came out him that he had been shot. officers who responded to her call began administering first aid to the critically-injured man. they asked walters, whohot you? court documents say he delivered an odd response. he said, that was me that shot the man in the trailer. he directed them to aer tra park near paint branch high school. there down a dark oad offic found a 63-year-old man named todd pruitt dead of multiple gun shot wounds, blood everywhere in e trailer. prosecutors say walters did not know pruitt but through a mutual acquaintance he had recently learned something about him. >> loyd walters really wanted to steal the money he found out came into the possession of todd pruitt because his mother died. >> reporter: by the te he w stabilized, walters had stopped salking to detectives. crime scene pho showed a safe and a stack of money found inside. prosecutors suspected walters shot pruitt possibly because he
