camepuith a h. already recording just under an inch of snow in such a short amount of time. as you can see when you look at this radar, we areeeg that change that we expected starting to creep in. we're starting to see the line as in pink are denoting the freezing rain, the sleet. we're seeing the green toward fredricksburg. that's goingnu to con to move and shift farther north. we'll see that change take place. thateans we'll have an icy situation through the overnight hours into early tomorrow morning. that's going to prompt the delays and cancellations. you already heard some of them. i want you to know the areas most likely are going to be farther north of the district.

d.c. down to waldorf and o manassas and i culpeper. the a freezing rain sleet and south of that the green, just plain cold rain coming down. as we head through the overnight hours, that's going to shift farther north. so that means areas seeing snow right now are going to be seeing more of a wintry precip just after midnight. this is going to switch over to rain as weead through the early morning hours but we're already starting to see some areas with glaze on the treess well as on the ground where roads are untreated. this hasllrompted a winter weather advisory. while this may expire at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, if you live in frederick county maryland or you travelh, farther no we do have a winter storm watch going into effect tomorrow night into tuesday morning with a second batch of wintry weather that's going to be impacting the area. we'll get to that in amoment. for now, take a look at the projected snowfall tota. varying right now. we have already seen an inch

fall in frederick countynd mary depending on what they get tomorrow night we could see totals anywhere from 1 to 2 inches. aoating in theistrict and this is changing over to rain now so we're not going to see i stick anyfurther. your monday road conditions, this is what you're looking at. monday morning commute is going to be slick and icy heading into the city. by the afternoon, it's going to be rain coming down, still ick, nonetheless. we do get that wintry precipn areas just farther north of the district. that's where we could see roads turnangerous and slick again. i'm doing it this way as well because i want to showre you that will be just wet because it will be mainly rain.or tomorrowng we're still going to have icy spots out there for the areas in this yellow zone here and those icy spots are primarily on untreated roads andhat maj concern is north. up toward the i-70 corridor where we wil t see most icy spots and as a result i know i showed this earlier but j if you't tuning in, delays
