roads turned into ice rinks a streets turned into slopes. snow in seattle actually reached a record level with more than 14 inches so far in february, and more on the way. the storm sut west widespread, it's even snowing in hawaii. >> hard t here in our neck of the woods, some schools are delayed tomorrow as we brace for snow and rain. they could bring some serious problems for your morning commute tomorrow. so let's go straight to stormam 4 chief meteorologist doug kammerer holding the ft in the storm center. >> doug, that rain, snow, freezing rai line is the allenge here, isn't it? >> it really is, doreen. it's all about that temperature. ifou're at 33, you're mostly dealing with rain below freezing. 31, 32, you're dealing with freezing rain, maybe even sleet take a look right now at the radar picture. that's exactly what it's showing you. all three depicted there. we have snow to the north around fredrik and freezing rain around leesburg and sleet around that area. and then just plain rain. most of this is on the light side.

deadly crashes, including one that killed three children. >> reporter: the picture of 5-year-old twins alexandra and rosalie mejia and their baby brother was on their minds as they sat with somber faces. residents along 210 in prince george's county griev for the loss of the three children the most recent victims of the collision on the highway. their main street as if the ttle ones were family. >> it is a culture of death. we've called it and described i to the most dane be druce road in the washi metro area. >> reporter: the numbers are staggering, 60 plus deaths on route 210 in prince george's county in the last decade, 134 crashes with injuries. a grassroots effort begun in 2017 has resulted in the placement of a fixed speed camera. community activist ron weisses beliore are needed and they need to be movable >> you don't typically put speed cameras at traffic lights.

toward the north. guys, this is going to be a big mess in this area early tomorrow morning so i reallyou want to watch out. right now hears of a the snow 270 and 70. h wee freezing rain around leesburg. we have just plain rain around the d.c. metro area. you widen out and there iso a lt more come. the cold air is in place. here comes all of this moisture trying to make its way in and that's why we had that winter storm warning that's i effect for the day tomorrow. now, here it is overnight. 5:30 in the morning, that rain/snow line, that line around the d.c. metro area, rain to the south, up to the north, we are dealiot with a in the way of ice, 5:30, 6:00, 7:00, by 8:00 it's lifting to the north here. two-hour delay would out a lot in places like loudoun county, maybe innt towards merie county. loudoun does have that advisory or that two-hour delay. byoon tomorrow, it is all rain everywhere. it's going to be a very wet aiy. once areas to the north, fredrik, hagerstown, winchester, you folks are the areas with the
