we have new details about the ongoing legal battle between jeff bezos and the "national enquirer." a source tells "the associated press" the brother of the mistress leaked the text messages. he's a supporter of president trump. the president has a history of being highlyca cl of bezos. the amazon ceo accused the tabloids parent company of trying to blackmail him with intimate photos of the couple if bezos didn't stop his investigation. convictpp kid from fairfax county is weeks away from his full release from prison and in the meantime he's staying at a halfway house just minutes fm his victim's family. >> scott macfarlane broke this story. scott, i know there's new t. fall this is just terrifying. >> this surprised us too and we realized we were on to something we when figure it had all out. of people ase a lot do remember.

was. >> craig bryant who was playing on the other team is an emergency room doctor. he immediately sprang into action. that's him pumping jib's chest administering cpr. with no oxygen reab'ing brain every second counted. >> your brain can have irreversible damage at the four to six minute mark. this is one of those situations where time is extremely important. >> reporter: luckily the rink had aaed. for five minutes dr. bryant tried to jump start jib's heart. then airacle on the ice, bryant was able to revive street. >> i think the first thing he said to me was, did i fall asleep? and he thought he had maybe took a little nap out there on the ice. >> he's my guardian angel. sm blessed to be here. >> jib spent days in the hospital and made a full recovery. two express his gratitude he gave his new hero the most prized possession.

we still have some spottyrozen precipitation mainly through the imrth of baltore. some of the higher elevations down through the blue ridge mountains and just to the west of winchester. there could be isolated slick spots out there. even going up i-81 and even coming up i-83 out of baltimore seeing some slick spots. be careful out there. the temperatures are warming so the temperatures wil comen up and that will transition everything to plain rain. this is a systemhat came through missouri that left all the snow through the midwest. a nice frontal system right there wil slip through and move right into our area as we head into tonight. current temperatures o there right now, 39 here in washington, leesburg at 32, frederick at 36 degrees. look at this. temperatures actually go up a little bit. we actually came up to 39/39. we could have heavy rain at times, enough later on tonighte that could have minor

you're seasoning your layers of components as they go in. >>nd what seafood goes into that? would you put that right -- >> this is a one pot dish basically. after this is sauted a little bit, then we add a little bit of --o what you like to do is cook the mussels first because they take time to open up. we throw in the mussels, these mussels are frommaine. they're really nice and plump simmer a t those little bit, add a little tomato. you can use crushed tomatans -- >> before we run out of time, hunter is here and you'reaking something that goes well with this dish. >> ye, we'll make a zeroproof we're going to to some faux bitters. this is reduced coffee and black tea. we'll give it a quick lit te st incorporate.

audiences can expect to see? >> katherines a young woman in 1850s new york. he comesrom an eltry she's the heiress. she is very socially awkward and living a life prescribed for her by those around her. we get to see her coming into her own, finding her own voice and making her own decisions so th by the end, she's completely different woman. >> that leads to the nt question. you say she starts as a shy young woman and moves into her own. goes the man she loves. is this a story about women's empowerment? >> it absolutely is and it's a fascinating play to encounter at this moment in time for o cultural and societal and political leanings right now where women are really coming into their own and finding their own voices. what's most exciting for me is not only seeing where katherine's journey is similar

to what i can identify with as a modern woman but also how it was '40s how fare we've already come as well. the dichotomy is there to appreciate bothspects of that. >> i'm sure you guys are bringing the drama. some plot twists in this play. >> absolutely. it has been incredible. we've had about a week of shows now and the oohs and ohhs as people try to follow the journey and we've decided that if the audience leaves totally liking orne disliking character throughout t show, we're doing it ong. >> when you first read the play and saw those twists for yourself, whatid you think? >> i was just so excited. this is a characterha allows me to -- i get to play katherine's best moments of her life and the worst moments of her lifell within two and a half hours and it's exhausting, but it'sth lling. >> okay. 1850s new york, high society. that is just bringsll kinds of images to my mind.

how do you guys transport the audience back to that time. set design and costume are a big partsf t production? >> without question. prop design, lighting design, our director who is the associated director has assembled an all-female eulti-cultural teams of designers which s day will hit be -- today is a very exciting and they have created the most stunning design to not only get to play in but also for audiences watching. i liken it to "downtoerabbey" the costumes and the rooms and the furniture is so play inle and we get to that every day and it really creates this gorgeoushe environment you can jump in and believe the story right off the bat. >> ealquick, that undercurrent of female empowerment, what does that mean to you personally? real quick. >> extremely important. i come from very strong
