over the last couple hours. we have another band making its way into the area in the overnight hours. hy the weather service extended the warning for montgomery county, frederick county,incarol, waon, points back to the west, including parts of west virginia. numerous trees down in these areas, power outages as well. that's because of the ice they have seen. to the south of this, it's been a rainy day, a nasty day at that. to the north we may still see a little more ice. i still out there on those trees and poner we may see more come down this evening. rain through mnight tonight, rain comes to an end tomorrow. and look at this, watching the next winter storms. the next winter storms, plural, there's three of them. talk tow so you soon. >> you got our attention.

coopering with fairfax count police in an investigation into one of its former staffrs mem here. police say the woman was sexually assaulted by a behavioral specialist here at the mvle community center in springfield, virginia. 60-year-old bernard bets king who lives in springfield is now in custody, charged with rape. >> in august of 2018 our detectives were notified by a family member that the victim had unfortunately become pregnant andhe was not capable of consent due to physical and ntal incapacities. >> investigators used dna evidence which led them to bernard betts king. they said when they were theyied by law enforcement took immediate action. bernard betts king is no longer employed by the agency. a mother who brings her son to the center said she's shocked by the news.>>

but he finally had. and she loved it. i like it he said he couldn't pin her dow r becauseht after all this happened with her, with the sepsis andhe amputations, she did not want to get married. she wantry to m him but she didn't want to be a burden to him. and finally, it happened. she wasto ablalk just as she said she wanted to do, and now he's working s tort a nonprofit to help with sepsis awareness, hp others recognize the disease and symptoms. and working to help amputees feel good about themselves. i think she's going to do whatever she wants to do. >> i couldn't agree with you more. >> a lot of people first saw the st r, wy which was a few years ago. nd dar cars, a local dealership, was so impressed with her and her willingness and ability to t whatever she could, they gave her a car. they had a car built for her.
