afternoon. tell us what we know so far about wt's happening here. >> reporter: he just made his first appearance in federal he's appeared in d.c. superior court on charges at the national momentum. prosecutors department say why he did the fire at comet pizza but they said it was his distinct blue jacket with white slees that we wore at both locations that gave himte away he was arrested twice outside the washington momentum. prosecutors say the man seen fighting with park officers in this videoe is the s man seen in thisurillance video from inside comet pizza. ryan rimass has bnharged with the fire inside the restaurant. federal inves tgators said suspect went into the restaurant at about 9:30 in t evening and set the curtains on fire, nobody was hurt. two weeks later, on february 4th

and 5th, rimas climbed the fence around the washington momentum nd on the second incident he fought with parofficers, who had to use a baton, pepper spray and finally a taser to subdue him. once he was in custody, he was recognized as the comet pizza suspect because of his jacket with the white sleeves. you'll recall in 2016, kecomet pizza became the center of national ed tension when edward lsh went into the restaurant with a semiautomatic weapon. prosecutors have given no indication there's a connection to the 2016 incident and this most recent arson at comet pizza. it was a d.c. paramedic who responded to the momentum who recognized rimas, told police

freezing i think for the most wrt on the road surface. and then look up around the mason-dixon line, we don't think there's going to be much of impact at all up there, areas like frederick and washington county where we had thet significcing earlier in the week. why is the storm system continuing to change today the computer models are bringing the storm fartherouth and our temperatures, we have a 60 degree day tomorrow, our high onaturday is around 40. temperatures when the snow is falling are going to be in the low to mid 30s so right around freezing. that produces a slushy wet sno and somoad impacts out there. but the snow is great for making snowballs, snowmen, that sort of thing. >> if you get it you'l be able to do that. so temperaturetomorrow looking od at 62. mile, 41 degrees on saturday. after the snow ends. 40n sunday. a 30% chance of showers on monday. then we have to turn our
