we should hear from the president before then, we'll be sure to bring you those comments. for now back to you in the tudio. n a story that was first on news4, a fist-flying taser-firing takedown on the natial mall. we obtained this video first and federal prosecutors tell us the suspect was wanted for setting the fire at comet ping-pong that same restaurant linked to a false national conspiracy. there's a lot to unpack with this one. mark segraves broke this story for us and he joins us liv at u.s. district court in d.c. mark? >> reporter: good evening a lot of different angles. prosutors did not say in court what the motivation was behind the fire at comet pizza but they said how they connected the dots. it was the blue jacket that the ect wore with the white sleeves we wore at comet pizza and both times he was arrested

outside the washington momentum. prosecutors say the man seen fighting with u.s. park police officers in this video is the same mann s in this surveillance video from inside comet pizza. 22-year-old ryan rimas has been charged with arson in connection to the january 23rd incident inside the pular restaurant in northwest. in court told rimas told the judge he didn'tave enough money for his own attorney. the judge appointed a pdelic nder who asked that rimas be released to the custody of hisp nts who travelled from south arolina to be in the courtroom today. federal investigators said the suspect went into the restaurant at 9:30 in the evening and set thurins on fire, nobody was hurt. about two weeks later, february 4th and 5th,he remisclimbed fence around the national momentum.
