reston, fox mill road between lawyers and steeplechase. we're following a developing story in the district right now. a 12-year-old remains in the hospital after being shot in northeast. >> the boy was an innocent bystander who was just in the wrong place when the gunfire started. this happened late last night in anll near 45th and ponds street. they found an unbelievable number of shell cases. along with theng ca they found the boy critically wounded. we don't know his name o why he would have been in that area. witnesses told pice a vehicle was driving away from the scene. officers searched late into the. ni but right now, we don't have information on potential suspects. l developine last night, a bus driver had to be freed after a crash left him pinned to his seat. this hapned at the corner of rockville pike and cedar lane in

pennsylvania. that's the leading edge of much colder air over the weekend. as f as rain chances, i'll walk you through future weather. the next chance coming into the mountains of west rginia. and the rain chances into the evening hours are probably only arou% to 40%. not a guarantee. just a possibility of a few drops as theront comes through. might be able to wring out a little rain here or there. as you get up on saturday morning, it will be full cloud cover, much, much coteer. being in the 60s today, we'll be in the 30s tomorrow morning. but you can see here on our forecast model, it keeps bringing that chance for any amount of snow farther and farther down to the washington area we might get enough snow to county the ground on ahe city. mayb slushy inch or so, for fredericksburg and northern neck and southern maryland. that pulls out. we're dryo saturday night i early sunday. then, sunday afternoon, the clouds come by later in the day, a chance
