story. with retalking to any parishioners this morning andre what they saying? >> what we are talking to, a lot of them don't want to go on cameras, but they will tell you they are a bit relieved about thee, and they it as somewhat of a disgrace that the -- that the former archbishop --ow former archbishop was involved in the activities for which he was charged by the church and which led t his being defrocked. now, of course, he was the archbishop ofn washing from 2001 to 2006 and you talked about the high profile that that position carries and the way that he handled himself in that position but these charges stem from activities before he came to the archdiocese of washington utre. they putt statement saying this will help with the healing process and help when the sense of disappointment and disillusionment that many catholics may have felt and, of course, it has elicited some strong emotions for parhioners here in st. matthews. >> what's going on in the

york avenue. d.c. police say 20-year-old man was shot there and later died at police are offering $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest. >> rightow the search is on for two men who robbed a jewelry store. two men walked noilver spring jewelry on university boulevard. both of the men pulled out their guns andm pointed t at ploys and stole a large amount of cash and jewelry, but it doesn't stop ther on their way out the robbers bumped into two other men stole their car. police also asking anyone with information to give them a call. >> well, it's a shocking twist in that alleged hate crime in that alleged hate crime against jussie smoll pt. chicagoice are now looking into whether the "empire" star paid the two brothers questioned and later released ford this attack to stage the attack. smollett claims on january 20th that h attacked and beaten in downtown chicago as he walked

disturew details emerging about the latest workplace shooting at a warehouse in aurorailnoimp the suspected shooter gary martin brought a gun to a meeting on frida that's when police say martin started shooting right after he s fired after spending is a years on the job there. five co-workers were killed including the human resources manager. the plant manager and an intern. authorities say martin wounded five police officers before they him.and killed martin should never have had a gun in the first place. a background check several years ago failed to flag a prior conviction for assault. >> this morning police need youp dentifying two people killed in a fiery crash near dulles airport. it happened yesterday morning. the victims were so bad that investigators don't know who they are. fairfax county police say the o drivthe gray honda cr-v was speeding along route 28 near mclaren road near that exit when they crashed and both m died. police released this picture of the gold chain that the driver

d.krrks leaders are standing their ground when it comes to how long metro should stay hope. this week metro's board members voted in favor of cutting back some maintenance time so trains can run longer, especia weekends, and you know all about this debate. >> it's become a heated debate.
