district. the latest in the series of brazen day time this time two of the victims teenagers. all unfolding aew hours ago not far from the fort dupont ice news4 pat collins with that story. >> reporter: the scene, the silver car in the apartment complex right across the street from the fort dupont ice arena. it was a drive by, i counted 14 shell casings on the ground, at least nine bullet holes in that car. ere was a sense of urgency here. one after anotherndhe w loaded into ambulances and then taken osp to the al. in that car three victims, two paengers, one 21 years old, the other 15. one shot in the back. the other shot in the leg. they're expected to be all right. the driver's said to be about19 his wounds said to be more serious. they say he's in a fight for his life.

be back in federal court later as the judge considers the condition of his release. the judge ordered the new hearg on thursday -- or ordered i for thursday after tone posted a photo of her on instagramt had a cross-hair near her head. stone later deleted the imaged an said it had been misinterpreted. eventually apologizing in writing to the court. stone faces several charges including lying to congress. theame jud is also presiding over paul manafort's d.c. case and chargesoz against a russian military intel officers. we are learning more tonight about the case of a man accused of raping disabled women. he was supposed to be caring for. both women gave birth to baby girls. julie carey has been digging through new court today that raise questions about why the suspect wasn't stoppedas before there second victim.

>> reporter: 60-year-old bernard tts king is behind bars held without bond. until recently he was a behavioral specialist at the mvle center. betts kin is now charged with raping two women in the program. newly filed court documents reveal signs of trouble first surfaced in october of 2017 that's when the family of the first alleged victim discovered she was five months pregnant and notified police. then in february of01 the woman gave birth to a bi racial baby. when she was asked who might have all thessaulted her, she s don't know. in november of 2018 another woman gavebirt police learned of that case

early last month. this time police said the victim was able t tell them betts king was the man who assaulted her.nt another imporiece of information, a dna test was recently done o the second baby born, the results show quote a 99% probability that betts king is the father. the time line in the case raises euestions. if policnd mvle knew about the first pregnancy in 17, how was he able to strike again. the police did answe in writing. they said because of the victim's intellectual possibilities they had to consider all the males she had contact with as possible suspects and they said detectites weren't in pn to do dna tests on the first baby becausehey had not narrowed the field of suspects. it wasn't until the second leged victim was discovered that they were able to make the connection to bernard betts

prosecuty the man seen fighting with police in this video is the same man seen from this surveillance video inside comet poing. 22-year-old ryan rimasgeas ch with arson with the incident i january. prosecutors say he went into the restaurant about 9:30 in the evening sprayed lighter fluid on theurtains in the restaurant's game room and tried to light them on fire, but couldn't get itlit. according to prosecutors, he then left the restaurant and came back a minute or two later and was able to then light the fire. according to prosecutors it was a patron inside the restaurant who pulled the curtains from the ll bare handed and stomped out the flames. about two weeksla r, on february 4th and 5th, ryan rimas climbed the fence around the washington moment and was arrested both times. during the first incident he
