drive-by shooting in the forth dupont area. and another shooting along stanton road northeast. that's where we find pat collins with the latest. pat? >> reporter: leon, it's incredible, one shooting at 1:00 p.m., another shooting at 4:00 p.m. i was over covering threeou men shot inside a car on 37th place nr the fort dupont ice rink when all of a sudden we learned of another shooting, another victim, another teenager, walking over here down stanton road. the victim here, a 17-year-old teenager. shot in the street around 4:00 p.m.oday. and say he was conscious breathing when they took him from the scene. police still looking for evidence, still tt ing to find motive.

now it was just a fewut m ago we were at another shooting treet near the fort dupont ice rink. the victims there, three young people sitting in a car. ages 21, 19, and 15. shot and wounded in a drive by. i counted 14 shell casings and nine bullet holes in that car. robert irving is the uncle two of the victims. he talks about the impact of k thd of violence. >> it hurts. i mean, not even tly fa it hurts the neighborod, you know because -- i mean, it's senseless, you know. it's reallysenseless. it really is. and like i said,peou know, le don't bother nobody. understand why you gonna ce around do something stupid like that, you know? >> reporter: now one of the

victims in the car is said to be fighting for his life. the other young people shot and wounded today are expected to be okay. po are working both of these cases. doreen, back to you. >> pat collins reporting. thank you, pat. fired fbiepy director andrew mccabe told nbc news today that congressional leaders did not object to the counterintelligence investigation into president trump. mccabe says he informed the gang of eight after he opened that investigation. the gang of eight refers to the congressional leaders briefed by the executive branch on critical, classified intelligence matters. the group consists of the top leaders of the house and senate from both pares as well as the chairs and ranking members of both intelligence committees. >> did you tell congress? >> i tongress what we had done. >> did anyone object? >> that's the important part here, no one objected. not on legal ounds, constitutional grounds and not

well. maybe a brief period of freezing rain. by about 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. we're seeing plain rain out there as temperatures warm to above freezing for the most part. now taking you back to the western zone, this is frederick, loudon, fauquier counties culpepper counties, through orange. you'll see snow starting between 4:00 and 6:0a.m. by 11:00 a.m. we're seeing sleet mixing in. a we could see prolonged period of sleet and then freezing rain with freezg rain becoming a concern between 1m.0 and 2:00 by 5:00 it should be rain. taking you back to our mountain zone now, hagerstown, martinsburg, back through cumberland you'll see snow beginning betwe 1:00nd 5:00 a.m. in the afternoon hours dealing with sleet and rain.zing in the mountain zone you could

be dealing with freezing rain as late as 10:00 tomorrow night. notice this, it's heavy snow area wide throughout tomorrow morning. you down in southern maryland your snow starts at 5:00 a.m. by midday a chance for some sleet, not huge threat for freezing rain. by the afternoon in the southern zo it is all rain out there. south and east of washington this is where we're noto going see as big of an impact compared to locations north and west of tout. north and west could have delays thursday morning. even in the southern zones, starting as snow. that's why we eayect d or cancellations there too because it will be snow. 1 to 3 inches of sno in southern maryland that's by around 8:00, 9:00. 2 to 4 in the d.c. metro area. 4 to 7 inches farther back to the west. and four to five, four tck six that way. some of the higher elevations could get up to 4 to 7 inches.
