prosecutors call him a terrorist but have not charged him as one yet. the judge today gave them no more than two weeks to file additional charges to back up the allegations they made here in federal court today. lieutenant christoph r hasson sarod straight in his jail jmp suit listening as the prosecutor told tge he's a domestic terrorist his writing show an intent to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in thisve ment. exhibit 1, these are theeans and ammunition seized from his silver spring me. they say he targeted democratic politicians and media personalities. >> the sheer number and force of the weapons recovered from mr. hasson's residence in this case, coupled with the disturbing nature of his writings, appear to reflect a significant threat to the safetf our community.

could be coming to major roads like i-270 and the maryland beltway. >> there's concern about how it would all fit. adam tuss is in chopper a 4 with look at all this tonight. >> reporter: when you have a story like bthis, thet way to describe it is to come up hernd in chopper 4ive you a great look at what's going on down on the road. take a look, this is 270 at the beltway split. we're talking about how do we add capacity here? how do w make the traffic flow better on 270. right nowoo notng bad but you know so many times of the day it's crowded. and the hogan administration is ofing away from the idea more transit corridors and instead talking about h.t. lanes, like you see in virginia where you pay to use thelanes, or just express lanes where you have to pay to use them no matter what type of vehicle you're in how do you do that without encroaching on the space here.

yesterday covering winter storm and thi pops , maria sharing these photos with me. you can see, yeah, a closer look, some blooms coming out from the cherry trees down there right around the tidal basin. ere's another picture she shared with me on twitter. absolutely gorgeous, especially with the snow in the background and the monument as well. ied rea out to the national parks service wondering is this unusual? n theional park service responded to me and they said it's not that unusual. it's the type of cherry tree that is blooming. it's the autumn flowering cherry and it will open sporadically during warmer periods of fall and winter. the park service said tomy'll reallyup when it e warms up towards spring. on march 6th, the national park service is going tonnounce when they think peak bloom will be this year we'll be making our forecast to
