>> tonight we could just be looking at rain but i have to put this on your radar, the winds. wealking about winds that could be damaging, power lines could be an issue as ll as tree down. so here's how it breaks down. our areas under a high wind warning including frederick county, maryland. for the rest of us it's a wind advisory. it begins tomorrow afternoon. what you can expect is winds gusting and roaring upwards of miles per hour in frederick county, maryland, and 50 to5 areas farther south. now, it ends at 10:00 a.m. on mond g so it isng to be not only a windy sunday afternoon but also a windy monday morning. right now, though, we're just dealing with the rain. showers kind ofcattered about up towards fred rerickfrederick towardsun county, but we are expecting another round of showers to develop overnight. tll let you know how long the rain is going last, how warm we're going to get tomorrow and we'll take a deeper look at those winds. meanwhile hundreds of people rally in richmone in respo to

the blackface controversy surrounding gernor ralph northam. darcy spencer joins us in the studio with the message from the protesters. darcy. >> erika, two different groups ca together todayo a common cause. they both want virginia governor ralph northam to resign. this morning they held a rally in the rain at the steps of then capitol bui in richmond and then staged a march on the governor's mansion. e buses were expected to shuttle people from all over the commonwealth for this march. it was organiz by the pro-life public policy group called the douglas leadership institutes well as the civil rights organization southern christian leadership conference. now, this march was in response to a rist photo posted on the governor's medical school yearbook pag decades ago. it portrayed somne in black face and someone in a kkk robe. after initially apologizi for the photo, northam chaseed cond denied he was in it. northam is also being criticized for comments he made on wtop

paused this first, which includes frederick county, maryland. for the res of us it's wind advisory. it begins in the afternoon, ends at 10:00 a.m. and thi i what we can expect. in the washington, d.c., metro area, surrounding counties, gusts will reach anywhere from 45 to 55 miles an hour. as you head farther north into frederick county, that's where we have the possibility of 60-mile-per-hour gusts. that why you a are under a high wind warning. what we can expect with this, swaying trees, downed trees possible the farther north and west you head. we m even see power lines affected by this, something to keep in mind. it doesn't just stop from there. we're actuallyoing to see some breezy to windy conditions on monday as well. that's why the advisory, the warning is extended until10:00 a.m. monday morning. looking at your sunday, planning it out, byhe numbers, if it wasn't for the winds i would have led with this.n temperaturese upper 60s, near 70 degrees tomorrow. so it is going to be pretty nice out theri, b the winds. we are going to see some clearing taking place through
