stories. one out of maryland and the second in a district. >> a man was found dead in an alley last night. d.c. police say he was noshot. ord on a suspect or motive. this was the second murder of theay in d.c. david brandon was shot and killed in the petworth neighborhood. marc and train service has been restored. this happened at the bowie state university train station. martin said the person was trespassing. passengers were stuck on that train for hours. trains started moving again after midnight. a new turn in the crisis for the commonwealth. justin fairfaxtunned lawmakers with a comment he made on the floor. assembly >> right after a republican praised fairfaxt how he handled the sex assault

the police report states that officers dided to do a field sobriety test after he was on a stretcher. they found an open bottle of wine in h vehicle. they took him to the police station and booked him for dui. he slipped into a coma and died four days later at the hospal. it w later discovered a police officer signed a medical form releasing treatment. rhodes did not sign that form. >> he should have been taken straight, directly to the hospital. it hurts. >> the officer involved has been placed onat adminise leave. d.c. police are on high alert after a spike of death from cars. there's been a 21% increase in ide.k-ins city thefts in downtown and northwest parts of the district, have doubled compared to last year. we'll have more on this story coming up i the next half hour. outrage, on social media,

you're watching news 4 today. >> teens are more likely to abuse prescription opioids when a parent has also misused them. researchers fromolombia university asked 35,000 kids and parents if they had ever taken a painkiller not prescribed for them or for the feelingt caused. they found teenslm are at twice as likely to ase opioids if a parent also did so. other factors were having a parent that tfolked, confl with a parent or little or no supervision. > sesame allergies are on the rise across the country. sesame is the ninth most common type of food allergy and reactions can be severe. one-third of people have been treated with an epipen. sesame is not only in seeds, oils and paste.
