the details. >> it is especially frustrating because there is only so much you can do to stop these annoying calls. according to robo killer, an apo designed intercept these calls americans received near 53 billion phone calls from robo callers, tell marketers and scammers last year alone. that is up from near 36 billion in 2017. and check out these numbers from last month. there were 206 million spam calls in the d.c. region alone. that's an avera of 31 per person. i can believe that. but there is a new effort to crack down on these calls. congress is consideriew legislation now known as the trac it would actually ruire phone carriers to implement technology to identify who's behind had robo calls. this would give the fcc as well as feral and state law enforcement the tools they nee to crack down on the illegal callers. until then, though, you can use apps like robo killer to try to cut down on the number of these

it arrived march 25, 1634 with some of thesh first eng settlers and jesuits. the cross tn made its way to st. francis xavier urch. in 1862 an inscription in latin was added tohe cross and then it was lost to history until father murphy found it in 1989. there he saw replica of the cross on a plaque saying that the original crosst is georgetown university. >> and that's when mys curiosit aroused. i never saw a cross like this at georgetown. whe could it be, wonder. >> reporter: father murphy asked everyone on campus. even the archivest didn't know about the cross. but one day the priest was rooting around in a storage room beneath the south tower at healey hall. >> and i only got so far when i
