rundle county. we're told that everyone made it o safely. a cause hasn't been determined. this morning, also developing, a gunman is on the loose after a deadly shooting. >> the massive response placed two on lockdown. justin finch joins us live with the search for the gunman. what is the latest. >> reporter: you may have watched this on news 4. a man was shot yesterday has died from his injurs. d this morning, police are continuing their search for the gunman. chopper 4 was over the yesterday. pennsylvania avenue and silver hill road in district heights. about 1:40 p.m. on monday,

outside of a town home. police found a man and woman who were shot. that led to a massive search you're seeing. officers ready for anything. and two schools going on lockdown. middle, freeman and suitland high school going on lockdown there. it turned out to not be the case. that lockdown was lifted. later in the evening, we saw some cars being foued away from that scene. the gunman and the two victims, a man and woman, did know each other. the man as you mentioned, did die. the woman, her condition not released. anyone who knows anything about his shooter or, perhaps, the shooting itself, reach out to police, to help them find him.
